7. Chrome Extension
Information Collected by the Extension
- Authentication — Access tokens and refresh tokens generated through Telegram OAuth login, stored locally in chrome.storage.local
- Chart Screenshots — The Extension captures screenshots of TradingView chart pages you are viewing and sends them to our server for AI technical analysis
- Usage Preferences — Scan mode, scan delay, scan history, and other settings stored locally in the browser
Extension Permissions
- activeTab / tabs — Used to capture TradingView page screenshots and navigate between multiple ticker symbols
- scripting — Used to inject navigation control scripts into TradingView pages
- debugger — Used to send keyboard input events to TradingView's search bar via Chrome DevTools Protocol
- sidePanel — The Extension's user interface is presented as a side panel
- storage — Used to store authentication tokens and user preferences locally in the browser
- identity — Used to handle OAuth 2.0 PKCE authentication flow
Data Processing
- Chart screenshots are used only for real-time AI analysis and are not permanently stored on our servers after analysis is complete
- All authentication tokens are stored only in your local browser and are not sent to third parties
- The Extension only accesses TradingView and USStockRadar domains and does not access other websites
The USStockRadar Signal Scanner Chrome Extension (the "Extension") is an add-on tool for the Platform that provides AI-powered technical analysis. The following data practices apply when using the Extension:
